Old Age Pension Scheme

  • 65 years and Older

  • Approximately six (6) weeks your before 65th Birthday.

  • Direct Bank Account Payment
  • Booklet
  • Direct payment to remote areas every six (6) months
  • Direct payment for shut-ins
  • MMG

  • Six (6) weeks from the time of applicant's submission.

  • National Identification Card, Passport or Birth Certificate (require photo for online Application)
  • Application Form (Not required for online Application)

  • Every quarter, LIFE Certificates can either be dropped off at any of the Ministry's Offices countrywide, scanned and emailed to pension@mhsss.gov.gy OR make a Whatsapp video call to 662-1572 and show a valid form of Identification that can be clearly seen during the call.
