  1. Applicants are also required to sign a copy of the Old Age Pension form at the Ministry of Social Services and Security (MHSSS) to commence processing.
  2. Application should only be made starting 6 weeks before your 65th birthday.
  3. Applicants who are 66 years and older, and are applying for their pension for the first time will be required to submit an Immigration Report. The Immigration Letter can be printed here and taken to the nearest probation office for completion and signature. This form must then be presented to the nearest Immigration Office to receive an immigration report. Immigration report must then be attached/uploaded with application form.

To ensure a seamless continuation of your Direct Bank Deposit please ensure the following number is called once every 6 months : 662-1572. Alternatively, a clear photo of the pensioner holding up their Guyana National ID card being sent to 662 1572 via WhatsApp, will also be accepted.
